Leonard Mease, 58, Route 1, Maribel, died Tuesday, December 15 at New Holstein.

He was born Sept. 2, 1929 at West De Catur, Penn. to the late James and Priscilla (Haines) Mease. He retired from the Air Force in 1968 with the rating of Tech Sergeant. He married the former Arlene Pantzlaff May 30, 1957 at Maribel. From 1968 to 1971 the couple owned and operated The Badger Bowl at Mishicot. Mr. Mease was employed by Tecumseh Products at New Holstein.

Survivors are his wife, Arlene; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Pam, Warminster, Penn.; Brian and Jeanne, Denmark; Jeff and Kathy, Green Bay; Robbie, Fort Dix, New Jersey; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Ruth Mease, Bigler, Penn.; two sisters, Maude Beish and Anna Mae Knapp, all of West De Catur, Penn.; his father-in-law, Hugo Pantzlaff, Route 1, Whitelaw; one granddaughter, Erin Mease, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Richard, Joseph, Roland, Sandy and Martin.

Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Our Savior Lutheran Church, Denmark, the Rev. Frank Tobisch officiating.
