Mason, Mary E., 89 years of age and a member of the Brandon community for 59 of those years, passed away February 4, 2015. She was born in Doerun, GA and the wife of (predeceased) Robert Mason who was in the U.S. Military. Mary traveled a lot of the years married to Robert, gaining new experiences with each move. Anyone knows when your husband is in the military, so are you. Finally she retired and started trying new things; from metal detecting, growing vermilions flowers, line dancing and anything else new and exciting. Mary is survived by her daughter, Connie Leis and many loving nieces and nephews. Mary liked things simple, enjoyable and comfortable and this is how her funeral will be. On Sunday, February 8, 2015 there will be an informal viewing. Pastor Gene Reynolds will officiate the service (and hopefully won't tell everything he knows about her) Marys' friend Brenda will also be "filling the room with beautiful songs" during the service.
