Bettie was born March 15, 1932 in St. Louis, MO., the daughter of Euin and Evelyn (nee Mahaney) Swyers. She was united in marriage to Perry C. Hurtt Jr. on June 9, 1952. Bettie is survived by her husband, Perry C. Hurtt, two children, Charles A. Hurtt and Julie C. Hurtt; two grandchildren, Randi (Michael) Brantner and Samantha (Chad) Tolliver; five great-grandchildren, Jayda, Ellen, Emma, Charlotte and Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her parents Euin (stepmother, Ruth) Swyers and Evelyn (stepfather Albert) Swan.
