Louis Kanera, 74, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, died early Friday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. the Rev. Leonard Woelfel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.


Mr. Kanera was born Oct. 19, 1899 in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee County, son of the late Joseph and Mary Spina Kanera. He married Alice Wojta Nov. 28, 1929 at Tisch Mills. He farmed all his life.


Survivors include his wife, three brothers, Wenzel and Daniel of Manitowoc and Joseph of Rt. 1, Kewaunee; three sisters, Mrs. George Schramel and Mrs. Helen Uecker of Milwaukee and Mrs. Arnold Lambert of Rt. 1, Kewaunee. A sister preceded him in death.


Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 3 pm Sunday, where a memorial service will be held at 8 pm.
