Memorial services for Romie Jay Allen will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 3:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jay, 53, died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Marion, SC, February 11, 1966, he was the son of the late Quay Allen and Patricia Jones Allen. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Stacey Allen of Dillon; step-children, James Scott (Kimberly), Timothy Scott (Deidra), and Amber Scott all of Dillon; grandchildren, Landyn Scott, Jacob Scott, Jalyn Scott, Chandlyr Morris, Lillyanna Scott, Jessica and Jersey Oliver; sisters, Cheryl Fore (Jimmy), and Karen Richardson both of Latta; 3 nephews; 5 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents; and his granddaughter, Layla Rose Scott.
