Don A. Olson, 73, of 2604 Monroe St., Two Rivers, died Wednesday evening, August 28, 1991, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

There will be a Memorial Mass at 2 p.m Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers, Rev. Paul Schumacher officiating. Cremation will have taken place.

He was born June 29, 1918 in Stevens Point, Wis., of the late Anton and Nina Chenevert Olson. He married Modesta Booke, Apri 15, 1950, in Madison. He attended grade school and high school in Stevens Point. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Central State Teachers College, where he was affiliated with Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1942, and was a member of the Order of the Coif. He served in the European Theatre of Operations, 1942-45, in the Counter Intelligence Corps, he received five campaign ribbons. He came to Two Rivers in 1946 to join the Larkin Law Firm, which later developed into Olson Winter and Fox. He was appointed to the Wisconsin Aeronautics Commission in 1959, and was its Chairman in 1966.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Don Olson Jr. of Madison; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marian Olson of Milwaukee and Elizabeth Olson and her husband. Kent Gallaway of Ripon, a borther and sister-in-law, Robert T. and Mary Olson of Aurora, Ill.

The family will receive friends at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church from 1 p.m. to the time of services on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Joseph Mann Library, Woodland Dunes or the University of Wisconsin Law School Scholarship Fund.
