Born in Marion, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Young and Mildred Louise Duncan Moore. Mrs. Padgett graduated from Holmes Bible College, was a homemaker, and a member of Life Church in Easley.
Surviving are her husband: Anthony “Sonny” Aylor Padgett; one daughter: Jacquelyn Leigh Padgett Gamble; one brother: Jack Moore (Janet); two grandchildren: John Anthony Abercrombie, and David Luke Abercrombie.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by one son-in-law: Roy Clifford Gamble; two grandchildren: Jordan and Elizabeth Abercrombie; and three brothers: Gary, Jimmy and Buster Moore.
Burial in Graceland West Cemetery.
