Doris V. Adler, a long time resident of Scarsdale, passed away on March 17, 2005 at her residence in Scarsdale where she lived since 1946. Mrs. Adler was born on February 4, 1918 in Mount Vernon, NY to George and Esther Nelson Paulmann. Mrs. Adler was a Homemaker. She married Kenneth L. Adler on September 29, 1940 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Scarsdale. Mr. and Mrs. Adler were the founding members of the Grace Lutheran Church in Scarsdale. They were acknowledged for their 50 years of service to the church recently. Mr. and Mrs. Adler also vacationed to over 40 countries worldwide. Mrs. Adler is survived by her husband of 64 years Kenneth. She is the mother of Nancy Brehm and son Darrell Adler. She is the grandmother of Laurie Kilkenny, Stacy Adler, Matt Brehm, Garett Brehm and Randy Adler Jr. Also surviving is one great grandson Jordan Criscione. She is also the sister of Calvin Paulmann. Her son Randy predeceased her as well as brothers George and Arthur Paulmann. Services Monday 10:00 AM Grace Lutheran Church, 45 Grand Blvd. Scarsdale, NY 10583. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers donations to Grace Lutheran Church preferred.
