Mr. Dale H. Stark, 70, of Macon, GA., formerly of Sylvester, died on Sunday ,August 18 , 2019 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday August 22, 2019 at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Melvin Slappey, Rev. David Williams and Mr. Jimmy Clements will officiate.
Mr. Stark was born on December 8, 1948 in Doles, GA., to the late Ernest Floyd and Eva Delores Whittington Stark. He had lived in Macon for the past 4 years moving there from Albany. Mr. Stark was retired from Blalock Equipment and Machinery as a territorial sales manager. In 2002, Mr. Stark earned the distributer salesman of the year award with ExMark and for the last two and a half years employed with Evergreen Propane Company. Earlier in life, he was the Store Manager at Keenan's Auto Parts in the Cordele and Moultrie locations. He was the past President for the Worth County Jaycees and was also a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Stark enjoyed working, spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Cross Stark of Macon; daughter, Angel Stark Helms of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Marissa and Gage Helms; sister, Ann S. Almgren of Albany, GA; sister-in-law, Latrelle Gunn of Doerun; several nieces and nephews.
