Darlington- Mrs. Matilda Meier, 77, died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alma Seffrood, near Darlington, after a long illness.

She was born in Madison. Her maiden name was Matilda Teude. After her marriage to Fred Meier she lived in Medford. Since her husband's death six years ago, she lived at Phoenix, Ariz., and for the past year with Mrs. Seffrood.

Survivors include three sons, Fred, Phoenix, Ariz., Arthur, Withee, and George, Medford; four daughters, Mrs. Alma Seffrood and Mrs. Harold Kelly, Darlington, Mrs. Lester Seffrood, South Wayne, and Mrs. Conrad Barth, Greenwood; two sisters. Mrs. Ben Barkley, Oakland, Calif., Mrs. John Reiger, Madison; two brothers, Edward Teude, Milwaukee, and Arthur Teude, Madison and 27 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:15 am in the Nelson funeral home, Darlington. The Rev. William Easser, Yellowstone, will officiate. Immediately after the services the body will be taken to Medford where services will be held Tuesday. Burial will be at Medford.
