~Mary Dolores Davis, age 84, passed away on August 19, 2019. She was born on December 27, 1934 to Louis and Rosa Bryan in Corpus Christi, TX. She was raised in Corpus Christi, TX.
Mary met the love of her life, James Davis, in 1956 and had a happy 44 years together. She graduated in 1956 from Del Mar College as an LVN. She loved her work in the medical field and was a home health nurse for over fifty years and was listed in Who’s Who of America for her dedication to the nursing field.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife, aunt and great-great-grandmother. She loved creating art and will always be remembered for her devotion to her family. Her love of life and beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband: James Davis; daughter: Janet Davis; granddaughter: Christi Autumn Wallen; parents: Louis and Rosa Bryan; sister: Sarah Bryan; brothers: Louis Bryan, James Bryan, Robert Bryan, Frank Bryan and Richard Bryan. Left to cherish her memories are her children: Wayne (Aunie) Davis, Janice (Monnie) Williams, Mark (Erlinda) Davis, Maggie Curry and stepdaughter: Patty Bennet; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; her sisters: Florence Godsell, Rose Marie Payne, Louis Bryan and Betty Waslif.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
