Jimmy was born on July 17, 1942 in Frederick, Maryland to the late Harold and Irma Weller. He spent most of his life working in the fence building business and retired from Frederick Fence Company. After retirement, Jimmy found joy in spending countless hours caring for his neighbors by providing lawn care and maintenance needs.
Jimmy truly had a love for people and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He was an avid gardener and took pride in his award winning sunflowers. He also was a devoted horse racing fan throughout the course of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Sally Rivenburgh; daughter Elizabeth Weller; son James Charles Weller (Chuck) and companion Victoria Menge; daughter Jessica Boetker and companion Ron Kuczinski; son Harold Weller and wife Belinda; step-daughter Tanya Santangelo and husband Don; grandchildren Kylee Boetker and Liam Kuczinski; five sisters Barbara (Sis) Wilcom (Robert), Carol Poole (Norman), Nancy Weller (Jack), Sandy Weller, Darlene McFarland (Robert); one brother Gary Weller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:15 pm, immediately followed by a celebration of life on Wednesday, August 21, at Eackles-Spencer and Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia 25425. The family will also receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21702 from 2 to 4pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, August 25, 2019. A Celebration of James' life journey will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment Private.
