Ida Louise Murner, 89, of Sistersville departed this life Thursday, September 25, 2014, in Sistersville Center. She was born June 7, 1925, in New Martinsville a daughter of the late Ira Elwood and Olive Mae Long Ruble.
Louise was a domestic engineer and a member of the Paden City Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; William, Henry and Chuck Ruble. Two sisters; Helen Blizzard and Ileen Reed.
Louise is survived by her husband of 54 years John Murner. A daughter Diane Barns, Columbus, OH. Two brothers; Ira Ruble, Sistersville and Lloyd Elwood Ruble, Alliance, OH. Two sisters; Wilma Yost, Middlebourne and Joan Murner, Paden City. Four grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne where services will be held Tuesday 1 p.m. with Pastor Don Biram officiating. Interment in Middlebourne Cemetery.
