Erected to the memory of Leslie Acheson Esq. who departed this life March 16th 1852 aged 30 years. Sacred to the memory of Robert Acheson, an only child, who died after three days illness on the 23rd day of April 1844, aged six years and two months. Church Records also state: Sons Robert 24th Apr 1844 aged 6 years, and Leslie 7th Nov 1847, 10 days old, and his daughter Elizabeth 12th Oct 1847, a few days old. ‘He Shall Gather The Lambs With His Arms And Carry Them In His Bosom.’ Isiah 22:22.
