Phoebe Marie Bishop, 70, a driving force of Bishop Castle, was born Dec. 3, 1947 and left this realm Aug. 19, 2018. In death, she was reunited with her son, Roy James and her brother, Michael. Left to miss her are her husband, Jim; her children, Daniel, Sage, Valerie, Scot, Donita and Nico. She will also be remembered by grandchildren, Ethan, Scarlet, John, Schon, Skyler and Vincent. She was born in Hugo, Colo., to Harvey and Rita Noakes, who preceded her in passing. She grew up wild with siblings, Richard, Ronnie, Darlene, Helen Lorraine, Junior, Rose and Timothy. Her vibrant ways will also be missed by a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, too numerous to count. Phoebe was happiest cooking for her family and gardening. In her younger years she was known as the best hunter and fisherman in her family, she loved the mountains of Southern Colorado. Phoebe’s life was dedicated to supporting Jim and their creation of a legacy through Bishop Castle. Per her wishes, a Celebration of Life was held prior to her passing. “When an immovable object meets the unstoppable force.”
