Leo Coehrs, 55, Is Apparent Heart Attack Victim After Entering St. Vincent's Hospital
Leo Coehrs, 55, of 220 Marion St., died this morning in the emergency room of St. Vincent's Hospital, where he had gone because he felt a pain in the chest.
He walked into the emergency room about 2:30 a.m. and chatted several minutes with accident victims who were waiting to be treated.
When a doctor asked him what his trouble was, he explained about the pain in his chest. He died apparently of a heart attack after being helped to the examination table.
His daughter, Esther Lee, is a student nurse at the Toledo State Hospital. Mr. Coehrs' wife, Alma, was visiting in Put-in-Bay, O.
A lifelong resident of Toledo, Mr. Coehrs was a yardmaster for the New York Central Railroad.
Also surviving are a son, Richard; sister, Mrs. L. M. Peterson; brother, Charles J., and stepmother, Mrs. Gertrude M. Coehrs, all of Toledo.
