Colton Patrick Decker, 19, of Cutler, Ohio, passed away at his residence due to a tractor rollover caused by a malfunction of the tractor, on Thursday, August 22, 2019. He was the best son, brother and friend that any parent would be proud of. Colton was born on July 24, 2000 to Pat and Loretta Decker in Marietta, Ohio.

He was a 2019 graduate of Waterford High School and a member of Porterfield Baptist Church. Colton enjoyed tractor pulling, hunting, sporting clays, tinkering on equipment, anything with a diesel engine, and riding four wheelers. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, friends and girlfriend, Haley Tornes, and her family. Colton loved his family and best friend, Skye, his dog. He was a very persistent young man that would have made a difference in anything he set out to do. He was a very dependable hard worker, that would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Colton was employed by Decker Drilling, while he wasn't in school, and farmed also.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Caitlin Decker; grandparents, Dean & Cheryl Decker of Fleming; great grandma, Evelyn Decker of Reno; aunts and uncles, Tuss & Tom Nice, Sonny & Karen Place, Amy & Tim Lewis and Kelly & Nick Tortorice; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delmar & Edna Place; great grandparents Dean Decker Sr. and Dennis & Rena Blauser.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Porterfield Baptist Church, with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Barlow Central Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Donations may be directed to the Barlow VFD. The Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is honored to serve the Decker family.
