Clara Ellen Viktora, 86, of Winamac, IN, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN. She was born on August 7, 1933 in Francesville, IN to the late Carl and Tena (Kruger) Garling. Clara was a 1951 graduate of Francesville High School. On April 11, 1953, she married Anthony F. “Tony” Viktora. He died on August 22, 2015.

Clara was a member of the St. James Salem United Church of Christ, the ladies Guild of the church and was a Sunday school teacher. Clara enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. Being home with her family and teaching them how to make the perfect piecrust or homemade Christmas gifts is what made Clara the happiest.

She is survived by two children; two grandchildren; two siblings; and one brother-in-law. In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Rose and Louise Dommer; and an infant brother.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at St. James Salem United Church of Christ in Francesville, IN, with Rev. Judith Doll officiating.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN. Burial will take place at St. James Salem Cemetery in Francesville, IN.
