Our beloved Donna Jean Lockhart Stewart passed away peacefully on Monday August 5th at the age of 73. Donna is preceded in death by her parents H.D. “Monkey” Lockhart and Hautence Hammond Lockhart. She is survived by her cherished son, Travis Nuchia and his wife Teri of Montgomery. Her grandchildren she adored; Cody , Allison, Emily and Kade Nuchia. Her sister and best friend, Sandi Salter. Her nephew and nieces Danny Salter (Julie) of Pinehurst, Amy Salter (Dmitri) of Montgomery , Holly Budde (Jeff) of Conroe, and her special great nieces Lindsey and Taylor Budde. She also leaves a wealth of extended family and friends.
Donna is a lifelong Conroe resident. She graduated Conroe High School in 1964. After graduation she enjoyed a career in advertising and sales. She founded her cook off team in 1981 and continued to enjoy that and cooking for family and friends. Donna loved being around people and having fun. Donna will be remembered for her big heart and giving spirit. Always smiling and eager to help anyone. The family will receive friends Thursday August 8th from 5-7pm at mcNutt Chapel in Conroe. Funeral services will be held at McNutt on Friday August 9th at 10am.
