Born September 8, 1886, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Walter and Eva May Gibson Lambert.
Mr. Lambert was a retired yard conductor for the Penn Central Railroad. He was a member of Tipton Masonic Lodge, Council and Chapter, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and the Baptist Temple.
On September 15, 1909, he was married to Mary E. Mummert, who passed away February 15, 1964.
Surviving are two sons, Cecil A. and Robert K., both of Logansport; two sisters, Mrs. Ferol Kranz, Twelve Mile and Mrs. Howard Snider, Fort Wayne; one brother, Fred, Twelve Mile; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Harold C. and a brother, Quincy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at McCloskey-Hamilton-Good Funeral Home with Dr. E. Clyde Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Hoover-Snider Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
