Mrs. Mary E. Lambert, 76, of 2127 Smead St., died at midnight Friday at Fix Nursing Home in Flora. She had been ill the past three months.

Mary was born Sept. 16, 1887, near Young America, the daughter of Henry C. And Sarah A. E. Plank Mummert. She was married Sept. 15, 1909, in Logansport, to Asher L. Lambert, who survives.

She was a member of the Baptist Temple, Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Royal Neighbors.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Cecil A. (Gladys F.), of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Robert K. (M. Virginia), 1730 George St.; two sisters, Mrs. Hester E. Lowe, of Delphi, and Mrs. Martha C. Butz, of rural route, Walton; two brothers, Jacob A. Mummert of Frankfort and Earl E. Mummert of Kokomo; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Harold C., who died in 1934; five sisters, and six brothers.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. E. Clyde Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Hoover Snider Cemetery. Ladies Auxiliary of B of R.T. services will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Friends may call at the funeral home.
