Funeral services for Amos Jefferson Capps, who was born May 15, 1878 and passed away March 16, 1970, were held Wednesday, March 18, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. in the Klawitter Funeral Chapel, Nelson, Nebraska. Pastor Moicello Cruz of the First Presbyterian Church officiated.
Casket bearers were: Earl Schoof, Vernon Schoof, George Judy, Leonard Capps, Dennis Capps and Kenny Capps.
Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska.
Mr. Capps was a former Nelson resident, at one time lived in the home now occupied by Russ Snyder and family. He was engaged in well digging and repair work.
