Ralph Floyd Harritt, the older son of Robert F. and Katy Harritt was born June 8, 1897 at the farm home of his parents. He died at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Nelson, May 27, 1965.

He joined the Pleasant View United Bretheran (sic) Church as a Sunday School teacher and superintendent, etc. until it was closed several years ago. He farmed for a livelihood until his health broke in 1959.

he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Clarence. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.C. (Pearl) Noll of York, Nebraska and Mrs. George (Pansy) Adams of Hastings. Also many friends of Nelson and community.

Mrs. Dorothy Moss of Nelson is a first cousin.

Services were held in the Klawitter Chapel in Nelson on Tuesday, June 1, with Rev. Maurice Holt officiating. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gene Ferebee, Jim Ferebee, Glenn Oltman, Gene Holsteen, Bob McCutchan and Harold Ruttman.
