Herrin Juanita C. Garavalia, 75, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 9:03 A.M. in Heartland Regional Medical Center. Juanita was born August 2, 1932 in Williamson County the daughter of Oscar and Olivia Fries. Juanita was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. She had worked at Allen Industries and had cooked at area restaurants, including Hungrys. Juanita was a wonderful mother to her six children and she loved being a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and a very kind and giving person, she enjoyed needle work and gardening.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Paul Reed officiating. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
