Michael Robert McMahon, age 19, of Shelton, Connecticut, beloved son of Michael T. and Monica (Tucci) McMahon, died in an automobile accident. Michael was born at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, MO. He was a graduate of Shelton High School class of 2005 and was attending the University of Connecticut as an Italian and Economics major. During his time at Shelton High School, he was a member of the Italian Honors Society and the National Honors Society. He also played on their Soccer Team for four years. In his senior year, he broke the school's established height record in the Pole Vault. He enjoyed playing the guitar, practicing ninjitsu, teaching gymnastics at Polly's art, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his sister, Meghan McMahon of Shelton; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Tucci, of Shelton; his paternal grandparents, Marilyn and Bill Grady of Shelton; his aunts and uncles, Bill and Kim Tucci, of Seymour, John and Linda Tucci, of Oxford, Pamela and Charles Hannock, of California, MaryAnne and Tom McMahon, of Shelton, Shellie and Bill McMahon, of Maine, Lorraine and Michael Dennehy, of Milford; his cousins, Stephanie, Billy, Jonathan and Lindsay Tucci, Shawn, Bryan, Callie and Teagan McMahon, Michael and Ryan Dennehy; and his nephew, Daniel Potucek III. He was predeceased by his cousin, Daniel Potucek. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton, CT.
