ABBEY - George E. Formerly of Cowlesville, New York, passed away on December 13, 2018. Devoted husband of the late Mary (Crowley) Abbey. Son of the late Stephen and the late Thelma (Austin) Abbey. He was predeceased by his sisters, Thelma (Daniel) Acquard, and Alice; and brothers, Harold and Stephen.
George is survived by his son, Michael (Makiko); granddaughters, Bian and Hyana; sisters, "Sue" Henrietta (Michael) Schafer and Mildred (Robert) White; sister-in-law, Becky Abbey; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Service will be held September 1st, at Fairview Cemetery in Bennington, New York at 11 AM.
