BARBARA J. NOW
(1932 - 2017)
Barbara J. Now, age 84, a Two Rivers resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center Two Rivers, due to complications of a recent stroke.
Barbara was born on August 25, 1932 in Berlin, WI, daughter of the late Edward and Lucille (Shattuck) Biegick. She was a graduate of Berlin High School, class of 1951. On December 26, 1955, she married Marvin Now in Berlin WI. The couple lived in Antigo until 1965 before moving to Two Rivers. Barbara loved her family and being a mother. She enjoyed cooking, coffee clutch and tea with her friends, soap operas and was an avid bowler.
Survivors include her husband: Marvin Now, Two Rivers; three children: Larry Now, Two Rivers, Laura Cornelius, Two Rivers, Roger Now, Chilton; four grandchildren: Michael Cornelius, James Now, Heather Now and Stephanie Nemetz; one great grandchild: Oaklie Now; one sister: Beverly Keelor, Berlin. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Barbara was also preceded in death by one son, Patrick Now.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. NOON, Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Tom Tomaszewski.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and Barbara will be laid to rest at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 10:00a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Friday August 18, 2017.
