(1946 - 2014)

Bernadine (67) found peace on Tuesday morning, February 4, 2014, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center following several years of battling multiple challenging and complicated health issues.

Born March 14, 1946, Bernie spent much of her childhood and adult years in the Milwaukee/ Port Washington area before moving to the Shady Lane Nursing Care Center to be closer to her daughter.

Bernie leaves behind: her son Randall T. Sprink, Milwaukee; daughter and son in law Stephanie A. (nee Sprink) and Eric D. Schultz, Two Rivers; Grandchildren Stephen D. and Kyle W. Schultz, Milwaukee, and Kristina ("Tina") Schultz, Stevens Point; Granddog Greta, and other family and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, and stepsister.

At Bernie's request, a small memorial lunch with her family and closest friends will be held at a favorite restaurant in Milwaukee.

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.kleinandstangel.com. Memorials may be made in Bernadine's name to the Arthritis Foundation, one of her favorite charities.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Bernie's family would like to thank the staffs of the Hamilton Care Center and the Aurora Medical Center, as well as the many HFM care providers who provided the outstanding care she received during these recent challenging years. A special thanks goes out to the exceptionally caring staffs at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center and the critical care unit at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
