(1943 - 2017)

Allen P. Strutz, age 74, a Valders resident, met his Lord and Savior Monday morning, November 27, 2017 at Bellin Health, Green Bay.

He was born on May 8, 1943 in Two Rivers, son of the late Frederick and Mildred (Zermuehlen) Strutz. Allen was a graduate of Mishicot High School, Class of 1961. He then received his bachelors degree from Badger School of Business with a degree in Accounting. On January 8, 1965 he married the former Eileen Geimer, of Two Rivers. Allen became a born again Christian on February 17, 1974 when he trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior by faith. He was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church, Manitowoc.

He was an accountant with Lakeshore Farm Management, Valders, for over 30 years and was currently working part-time at Strutz Financial, Plymouth. He had a great ability and expertise with numbers and was loved and appreciated by all his clients. Allen was an accomplished musician, church organist and treasurer, enjoyed telling jokes, going to Culver's Restaurant and was a fan of the Packers and Brewers. He lived his life doing what he loved to do and always tried to help those around him in the ways he knew how, by being a faithful husband, father, worker and friend.

Survivors include his wife: Eileen Strutz, Valders; his five children: Wendell (Lydia) Strutz, Plymouth, Susan (Norman) Smith, Japan, Merilee Strutz, Kentucky, Darrell (Rosa) Strutz, Illinois, Kelleen Strutz-Chernet (Eyassu Chernet) Indiana; nine grandchildren: Wendell, Maddie, Harrison and Olivia Strutz, Chloe, Cameron & Melodie Smith, John Allen Strutz, Ethan Chernet; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Eugene Strutz, Leon (Marlene) Strutz, all of Two Creeks; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Allan Geimer, Wayne (Gerda) Geimer, Ben (Shirley) Geimer; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary (Leon) Vanos, Diane Geimer and Joyce (Jim) Kochan; and a special friend: Glen Schmidt. Many nieces, nephews, friends and Open Bible Baptist Church family also survive. He was preceded in death by his step mother: Bertha Strutz; a grandchild: Maxwell Smith; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Urban & Gertrude Geimer; two brothers-in-law: Gerald Geimer & Eugene Geimer and three sisters-in-law: Judy Geimer, Louise (Jerome) Paider and Jenny Thiede.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Open Bible Baptist Church, 2021 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be Pastor Roger Harrison.

Visitation will be held at Open Bible Baptist Church, 2021 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday December 1, 2017 and Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allen's name to Pacific Garden Rescue Mission, Chicago, IL.
