Donald V. "Stu" Stummeier, Sr., of Whitelaw, WI, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
Don was born on April 11, 1945 in Green Bay, son of the late Fred and Helen Stummeier. He was a graduate of Preble High School with the class of 1963. Don served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved his family, country and driving semi.
Don will be missed by his daughters: Lori Lee Sherman, Whitelaw, WI; Lisa Marie Stummeier (Terry Crowdy), Colorado Springs, CO; Tisha Ann Stummeier (Daniel Kupsh), Menchalville, WI; four grandchildren: Neil Caldwell (Jamie Vantassel); Tanisha Crowdy; Teri Lee Crowdy; Trey Crowdy; one great-grandchild: Landen Stummeier; two sisters: Mary (Don) Selner, Green Bay, WI; Jeanie Stummeier, Rockford, IL, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Helen Stummeier; one son: Donald V. Stummeier, Jr.; one special friend: Theresa Didenko. was a Vietnam Veteran.
