Funeral service for Larry Allen Stay, 72, of Oxford, will be 11 am Monday, July 15, 2019 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Mr. Stay passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence.

Survivors include one daughter; two sons; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers.

Mr. Stay is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jane Stay.

Pallbearers will be Greg Stay (Beloved Son), Keith Stay (Beloved Brother), Chef Paul F. LaRocca Jr., (Beloved Friend), Milton Ford (Beloved Friend) T.D. Adcock (Beloved Friend) and Jordan Clark (Beloved Grandson-in-law).

Mr. Stay was a native of Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Army for 28 years as a retired Command SGT Major at Ft. McClellan. Mr. Stay served two tours in Vietnam.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
