Paul Jayson Summey, 64, of Zirconia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.
A native of Henderson county, he was a son of the late Joseph and Reba Masters Summey. He retired in 2013 from Kimberly Clark after 26 years of service, and was a member of Upward Baptist Church in Flat Rock. Paul enjoyed a competitive round of golf, watching NASCAR with his wife, and nature in general.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Joe, John, and Jack Summey.
Surviving is his loving wife, Rosita L. Summey; son, Craig Summey and his wife, Tammy, and their children, Kyle and Joshua, all of Hendersonville; stepdaughter, Bobbie Carpen and her husband, Neal, and their children, Mason and Maggie, of Greenville, SC, and many loving siblings.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Upward Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Chandler officiating.
