Mesick, Michigan - Patrick Naaman Marble, of Mesick passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was 75. Pat was born on November 19, 1942, in Flint, Michigan. The son of Gayle and Audrey (Osman) Marble. He entered into marriage on November 9, 1963 with the former Janet K. Cripe of Kalamazoo, MI. Pat and his family moved to Mesick in 1957 and he was a graduate of Mesick High School in 1960. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he returned to the Mesick area where he worked at AT&T and the Little River Casino Resort until his time of retirement. He was a life-long member of the Mesick AMVETS Post 120 where he served as District 6 Commander for 2 years, District 6 Sadist for 2 years and State Inspector General also for 2 years. Pat was an avid bowler and bowled one perfect game. He enjoyed spending time outdoors golfing, fishing and hunting. Pat liked a good game of cards and watching his Detroit Tigers.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janet K. Marble of Mesick; daughters, Melanie (Scott) Tillison of Kalamazoo, MI and Barbara (Roger) Petree of Wyoming, MI; son, James (Kim Coomes) Marble of Louisville, KY; 6 grandchildren, Laura, Sara, Audrey, Rusty, Scotty and Gus; sister-in-law, Margaret McCabe; brother-in-law, Vern Merrill; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sally.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the AMVETS Post 120 in Mesick. Interment will take place at Mesick-Sherman Cemetery at a later date.
