Leroy W. O'Leske, age 84, formerly of Manitowoc, died Monday, September 29,2014 at Rennes Health & Rehabilitation Center, Appleton.
Leroy was born on June 14, 1930 in Manitowoc, son of the late William F. and Marie A. (Pitroski) O'Leske. He was a 1948 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school Leroy entered the United States Navy and served in Boat Unit One, Naval Beach Group One from February 1950 until his honorable discharge in December 1953 as an Electrician's Mate, Petty Officer Second Class. Leroy was co-owner of the Club Bil-Mar until his retirement in 1983. He was a past president and member of the Newton Lions Club.
Survivors include his three children: Michael L. (Kim Near) O'Leske, Tucson, AZ ; Debra M. (Larry) Placzek, Cedar Park, TX; Cindy A. (David) Hull, Kimberly; fine grandchildren: Samantha; Jenna; Bryce; Lauryn; Jayson, nieces, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; previous wife: Nanette Lewis; brother and sister-in-law: Norman (Lois) O'Leske; special friend: Georgia Johnson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Rev Dave Pleier will officiate. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
