Died As Result Of Motor Cycle Accident
Terry E. Hoobin (16), high school student, died at the Port Lincoln Hospital in the early hours of Friday morning as a result of a motor cycle accident. He was returning to Port Lincoln by the Winter's Hill bitumen road when the motor cycle got out of control and left the road near Mr. N. Easton's dairy. The machine tore through some scrub and eventually came to rest against a tree.
Mr. H. R. Hoobin (21) was pillion passenger. He received serious in-juries, but is reported to be making satisfactory progress.
Terry's remains were interred in the Catholic cemetery on Saturday last. Rev. Father W. H. Nesdale officiated at the graveside.
The motor cycle, which had been lent by the owner to Mr. H. R. Hoobin, was badly damaged.
