WILLIAM E. CORNILS

William E. Cornils, 69, of 2406-15th St., Two Rivers, retired Mirro Aluminum Co. Plant No. 1 department head, died early Wednesday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Cornils was born Sept. 29, 1900, at Stratford, Marathon County, a son of the late John and Bertha Berg Cornils. The family moved to Two Rivers in 1918. After a short period of employment at Hamilton Mfg. Co., he went to work for the Mirro firm in 1923 and advanced to department head in the Percolator Dept. He retired in 1963.

He was a member of Two Rivers Aerie of Eagles, Mirro Management Club, Mirro 25-Year Club and St. Mark Holy Name Society.

Besides his wife, the former Martha Doncheck, whom he married April 27, 1926, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Garceau of Two Rivers; a son, Leonard of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Habeck and Mrs. Minnie Rozmarynoski, of Two Rivers; two brothers, Edward of Two Rivers and John of Billings, Mont., and eight grandchildren. Five brothers and a sister preceded
him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday where memorial services will be at 8 p.m.

Marriage of William Cornils (1st marriage)
William E. Cornils, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cornils and Miss Hortense Catherin Beth, daughter of Mrs. John K. Beth, knelt before the altar of St. Luke's Church Monday as Rev. Father Hugo said the ceremony which united them in holy bonds of wedlock. The bride wore a veil and a gown of white canton crepe richly embroidered.

She carried a shower bouquet of Phelia roses. Misses Agnes Beth and Adela Kotchi, the bridesmaids wore gowns of crepe de chine. Best man and groomsman were Edward Cornils and John Beth.

A large assemblage of guests greeted the newlyweds at the home of the bride's mother after the ceremony and the event was duly celebrated. The grooms is employed in the aluminum industry. The couple will be at home to friends at 1015 Seventeenth Street after Sept. 27.
