BURLINGTON--Puget E. Ball, 84, a lifelong resident of Skagit County, died in a Mount Vernon hospital Tuesday afternoon following a long illness. Mr. Ball, who farmed in the Fredonia district, was a member of Fredonia Grange.
He is survived by the widow, Mary at home at Rt. 2, Mount Vernon; a daughter, Patricia Dahlstedt, Rt. 2, Mount Vernon; three step-daughters, Mrs. George Morrison of Seattle, Mrs. Christine Curbow of Rt. 2, Mount Vernon and Mrs. Opal Shimek of Shelton, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hulbush Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bayview Cemetery.
