Marion G Mccormick was the Daughter of George Wibur Mccormick of Pennsylvania, and Isabelle Button of New Haven ct. She and her sisters lost their father 10 months after Marion was born,to a train accident that happened in the Cedar Hill yard in New Haven ct,while he was on the job.Isabelle went on to marry Victor Barnes of New Haven ct,becoming Marion and her sisters father.

On July 26th,1947,she married Thomas Clinton Bogart of Hamden ct. Thier first child was born in 1949. They had a total of 5 children, and lost one at birth. She was a devote
Jehovah Witness,a stern mother, and a wonderful wife.Till the day grandpa died,he truely was in love with her. He always talked about her to me, and his memory of her never died.

In or about 1959,after the birth of her last child, she was diagnosed with breat cancer. Grandpa told me about the agony and pain she was in,and his agony of watching the love of his life dwindle so fast. The cancer finally spead to her brain, leaving her no memory of who was who,and she died peacefully in a convalescent home in Branford ct, on December 23 1964,just two days shy of Christmas, the holiday that my grandfather celebrated often, because he loved that holiday so much, and was not following grandma's religion at the time, until he was much older anyways.

Breast Cancer took my grandmother away before she could meet her grandchildren. So,I dedicate this page to a woman who was strong willed, and so loving to her children and husband.

We love you grandma..............
