Shirley “Ann” Stevenson, 73, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Shirley was born in Blytheville to Troy and Ethel Southard Brooks. She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Shirley was an active volunteer and coach with the Area 13 Special Olympics.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle W. Stevenson; her parents; one son, Troy Wayne Stevenson; brother, Henry Brooks; and two sisters, Sybil Brooks and Thelma Alice Brooks.

Shirley leaves her daughter, Darlene Blagg and her husband Curtis of Half Moon; two brothers, Troy Cleatus Brooks of Lepanto and James William Brooks of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; six sisters, Gracie Brooks Lemons and Bea Brown, both of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas, Wilma Brooks Woods of Paragould, Betty Jewel Richardson of West Plains, Missouri, Joann Jones of Joplin, Missouri and Norma Lane of Flippin, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Harley, Jeremy and Magan Blagg; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16th at 3:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Cox officiating.
