Dartha Lynnette Hanson, 59, of Normangee passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was born on October 13, 1959 in Conroe, TX, to John W and Mary Squyres. She was the eighth of nine children. Dartha was known for caring graciously for friends and animals.
Dartha will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by:
Her parents, John and Mary Squyres
Her brother, John W Squyres, Jr
Her sisters Amanda Marilyn (Squyres) Thompson-Martin, Pamela Patricia (Squyres) Roe and Martha Jane Squyres.

She is survived by:
Her daughter, Jennifer Spell and her husband, Larry, and their children, Wesley and Logan
Her daughter, Jaclyn Paxton and her son, Chance Paxton
Her husband, Ronnie Hanson
Her brother, Alan
And three sisters, Mona, Laurie and Twila

The Celebration of Life was held Saturday, September 21st at First Baptist Church in Normangee with Pastor Bob Shirly officiating. Cremation arrangements were in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.
