Jason P. Adams, 17, of 6 Lakeside Drive, Merrimack, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Children's Hospital in Boston following a lengthy illness.

Jason died of leukemia.

He was born Dec. 4, 1982, in Manchester, son of Jonathan N. and Linda (Leppert) Adams of Merrimack.

Mr. Adams was a junior at Merrimack High School, where he played on both the football and track teams. In the summer, he loved the water, boating, fishing, and lobstering. In the winter, he enjoyed snowmobiling. What he enjoyed most was driving around Merrimack with his radio booming. All of these activities were shared with his family and many friends.

Besides his parents, survivors include a brother, Jonathan L. Adams of Merrimack; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Leppert of Nashua; and two aunts, Jean Sarris of San Francisco, Calif., and Paula Stella of Guilford, Conn.

There are no calling hours and burial will be private in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Jason's life on Friday, March 31, 2000 in the Wayfarer Inn Ballroom, 121 S. River Road, Bedford, NH at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jason's Memory May be made to the Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, MA 02139.
