Elray Hawkins Allen, 82, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on August 24, 1937 in Wirt, Oklahoma to Beulan Slater and Viva Magdeline (Stradley) Hawkins. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 9, 2019 in Texarkana, Texas.
She graduated from Sayre High School, Sayre, Oklahoma. Elray married Billy Allen on July 5, 1956 in Sayre, Oklahoma. Elray owned and operated her own pre-school, Little Playhouse, in Oklahoma City for many years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, working in the flower bed, watching sports, the Hallmark channel and cooking. Above all else, Elray, loved spending time with her grandkids and family.
Funeral services will be at the Martin Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Elk City, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory is her son Greg Allen and his wife, Carla of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter, Martha Jones of Texarkana, Texas; five grandchildren, Andrew Jones and his wife, Erica of Texarkana, Texas, Austin Jones and his wife, Kaylee of Texarkana, Texas, Aaron Jones and his wife, Anna of Texarkana, Texas, April Allen of Norman, Oklahoma, Tristan Allen of Yukon, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren, Liam Jones, Mason Jones, Olivia Jones and Nora Jones all of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, R.
