Alice was born Oct. 18, 1913, to Ernest and Mary Lohr, on the family ranch near Devon. She was educated in area schools, graduating from Conrad High School in 1932. She attended beauty school in Minneapolis and worked as a beautician in Minneapolis, Pendleton, Ore., Harem, and owned and operated Alice's Beauty Salon in Glasgow for 36 years. She married Theodore Leistiko in Malta in 1939 and they farmed in the Glasgow area until his death in 1968. In 1969, she married Maurice Reynolds in Harlem and they farmed in the Saco area until moving to Spokane, Wash., in 1979. They recently moved to Great Falls to be nearer to family.
