PRATTSVILLE -

Bill Allen, 65, of Prattsville, died Monday at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock.
He was born Aug. 13, 1939, at Prattsville, a son of the late John Allen and Carrie Abana Hope Allen.

He was a cattle farmer and a partner in Allen Brothers Farms.
He was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Allen.
Survivors include one brother, Dick Allen of Prattsville; and one sister, Mary Lou Harper of Prattsville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with Shawn Hill, Vernon Bass and Ray Sinkhorn officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at Sheridan.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Bill Allen of Prattsville, Arkansas was born in Prattsville on August 13, 1939 the son of the late John and Carrie Abana Hope Allen. He was an active member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. Bill was an a cattle farmer, a partner in Allen Brothers Farms and an avid attender of farm equipment auctions.

Bill died Monday, October 25, 2004 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 65.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Frank Allen.

Sister, Mary Lou Harper and a sister in law, Robin Allen both of Prattsville

Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Shawn Hill, Bro. Vernon Bass and Bro. Ray Sinkhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation: 6-8:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Daniel Crutchfield, Bill Burnett, Jimmy Wayne Carter, David Paxton, Eddie Hicks and Perry Nichols. Honorary: Jerry Crutchfield, Kenneth Stuckey and Henry Lee Clegg.
