Walter Sumerford Anglin, 57, of Hamilton, died suddenly Saturday, April 25, 1992 at Hamilton General Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, April 27 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Moody officiating. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Anglin was born August 28, 1934 in Hamilton County to Irvin [Lee] and Louvetta Sumerford Anglin. He married Susan Grant Anglin of Hamilton June 1, 1971. He was Justice of the Peace, Prct. 1, Hamilton County. He was a member of the Justice of Peace Association and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hamilton.
Survivors include his mother, Louvetta Anglin of Sweetwater; his wife, Susan of Hamilton; seven children, Cordie Anglin Adams and her husband Daryl of Sulphur Springs, Toby Anglin of Stephenville, Andy Anglin of Hamilton. Glenn Anglin of Biloxi, Mississippi, Kevin Anglin of Brenham, Katrina Allison of Wylie, and Michelle Painter of San Antonio; one sister, Betty Payne of Sweetwater; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Craig, Chris Croy, F. B. Golden, Gary Schoen, Tom White, Charlie Bottlinger, Murlin Bottlinger, and Jack Davidson.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department
