JOHN TIMOTHY MCCORD
(1959 - 2016)
John Timothy McCord, age 56, of North Fond du Lac, WI entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
John was born in Chicago, IL on September 25, 1959 to the late LeRoy McCord and the late Shirley Mathies McCord-Comer. He was proud to make the Varsity Football team while being a freshman at his Chicago High School. Moving to Two Rivers in 1976, he graduated from the Washington High School with the Class of 1978. In June of 1987, he married Wendy Gulseth. In August of 1989, he welcomed his one and only cherished child, Steven John. After working at Hamilton's (throughout high school), Manitowoc ShipYards. Weyerhauser and The Georgia Pacific Broadway Facility, John went back to school to earn his associates degree in small Engine Repair from Fox Valley Technical College.
John is survived by his loving and loyal son, Steven John McCord and Steven's wife, Patience Joy Krahn-McCord, his sister Jeanne Saville Stone (Chris Kakuk), his brother Doug McCord (Cindy), his special friend, Gail Meyer, his son's mother, Wendy Gulseth-Hunt (Dan), many nieces, nephews and cousins, former brothers and sisters-in-law, and his pets Daisy Mae and Jinx.
John was preceded in death by his parents LeRoy McCord and Shirley Comer, his sister Patti McCord, father & mother-in-law, Dale and Shirley Gulseth, and brother-in-law, Lonnie Gulseth.
He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his son and Patience, visiting and watching his grand puppies, fixing engines and his pets, camping and the outdoors. He caught a muskie his first adventure out trying and several more thereafter. John was an extremely proud father, brother and friend. He will be missed.
