(1947 - 2018)
Two Rivers - Carol J. Pribek, age 70, a Two Rivers resident, died early Friday morning, January 5, 2018 at her daughter's home in Manitowoc.
She was born on December 14, 1947 in Chilton, daughter of the late Clarence & Lorraine (Rappi) Schmeiser. Carol was raised in Chilton, moving to Two Rivers in 1964. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers Class of 1966. On March 16, 1968 she married Jack R. Pribek in Menominee, Michigan. Carol retired from Thermo Fisher Hamilton, Two Rivers, after 39 plus years of service. She enjoyed the arts and was an accomplished painter and wood carver. She also enjoyed yard sales and collecting antiques along with fishing at her summer cottage.
Survivors include her husband: Jack Pribek; a daughter and son-in-law: Nicole (Bruce) Fulton; and a grandson: Jordan A. Cisler and David Cisler, Jordan's father. She is further survived by two sisters: Gail (Brad) Kreisa of Nevada and their children: Jen & Jason Kreisa; Debra (John) Zeman and daughters: Samantha & Rachel Wilke. She is also survived by her cat: Coco, along with many friends and relatives.
Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Froedtert Cancer Center of Milwaukee and the staff of Holy Family Memorial Hospice for their care and compassion.
