High Springs - William E. "Gene" Cruse, 63, a lifelong resident of High Springs died early Tuesday morning July 3, 2007 at his residence in High Springs. Mr. Cruse enjoyed fishing and was member of the United Pentecostal Church, Gainesville, Florida.
Mr. Cruse is survived by his wife, Annette Keene Cruse, High Springs; step son, Ricky Hill, High Springs; step daughter, Barbara Gail Scott, Gainesville; one brother, Lonnie Cruse, High Springs; two sisters, Margaret Tyndle & Ramona Lovin, both of High Springs.
Funeral services for Mr. Cruse will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 5, 2007 in the United Pentecostal Church, 8105 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, with Bro. Jim Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Newnansville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 4, 6:00-8:00 P.M., at EVANS-CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 220 North Main Street, High Springs, who has charge of all arrangements. 386-454-2444.
