Mary was a school teacher at Ferry District School, Ansonia, Connecticut from 1890 to 1906 after which she was assistant principal at Monroe's Business College, Waterbury. Later she moved to Brooklyn where she worked as a Stenographer. At her death in 1952 she was living with her nieces Henrietta and Gertrude Harding.
