Sara A. Genrich, age 26, a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, formerly of Collins, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on November 7, 1985 in Manitowoc, daughter of Myron & Colleen (Cavanaugh) Genrich Jr. Sara was a graduate of Slinger High School, Class of 2004 and also attended the University of Minnesota. She was a member of the Air Guard for four years, graduating with honors. Sara was active in 4-H, enjoying her rabbits, dog training and dairy goats. she also enjoyed her dogs: Brooke and Caprice.
Survivors include her parents: Myron & Colleen Genrich, Collins; a sister: Shannon Scanlon and her husband: Craig, Minneapolis, Minnesota; her grandparents: Patrick & Karen Cavanaugh, Manitowoc; and two aunts and an uncle: Cathy & Jody Holm, Rapid River, Michigan and Susan Raddant, Two Rivers. she is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents: Myron and Alice Genrich; her great grandmother: Mary DuFano and her great grandfather: Patrick Cavanaugh.
